Attorney Mansur is a graduate of Suffolk University Law School (J.D. Cum Laud), Boston, Massachusetts, and received her B.A. in English and Journalism with a minor in History from the University of New Hampshire, Durham, NH. Attorney Mansur earned her law degree while working full-time and attending classes in the evening. While Attorney Mansur was studying for her law degree she worked as a Law Clerk for the United States Coast Guard. While working for the Coast Guard Attorney Mansur became intimately familiar with both the structure and inner workings of the military justice system, as well as the unique needs and concerns facing many military families. While at the Coast Guard she worked on matters ranging from criminal prosecutions under the Military Code of Justice, to large prosecutions of major shipping companies in conjunction with the U.S. Attorney’s office relating to environmental law violations, and assisted enlisted members with issues relating to family matters, estate planning, and land-lord tenant law.
Attorney Mansur is licensed to practice law in MA and to-date has litigated in every family and superior court in the state. After graduating law school Attorney Mansur worked at a small civil litigation firm in Peabody, MA handling matters relating to breach of contract, real estate and collections. In 2010 Attorney Mansur decided to start her own law firm where she could follow her passion and focus exclusively on Family Law. Attorney Mansur handles all matters relating to family law including; divorce, custody, contempt, modifications, guardianships of adults and minors, step-parent adoptions, paternity, and drafting of prenuptial and postnuptial agreements. Attorney Mansur has also received special training in handling domestic violence family law matters and volunteers her time doing pro bono work for organizations such as the Women’s Bar Foundation, the Victim Rights Law Center, and the Volunteer Lawyers Project.
Attorney Mansur belongs to the Boston Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Women’s Bar Association, is the co-chair of up-coming Solo and Small firm Women’s Bar events, and is a member of BNI Sudbury, Middlesex West Chamber of Commerce.
